Just been patrolling Lave, Reorte and Tionisla for npc bounty hunters and pirates this evening, keeping the lanes clean for the traders. Helped the cops take down a Python at a nav point and brought down a few Cobras and Asps. When flying home to Ing Ring for the night I found myself interdicted by an Eagle, and fortunately I had just enough ammo left to bring him down too!

Day 30 - Nourse City in Esumindii system

Trading some metal with 850 to 1K profit per ton. Hunting was good thanks to the new class 2 Cannons (320K Cr. bounties) I confirm they are very efficient at short range !
So I bought all I needed for the "Blue Snake" (gimballed beam lasers, A grade life support and sensors) I'll be on my way to Lave now.

This corner of the woods is interesting : a high tech station to buy good equipment, all types of economies within 1 jump range, good hunting ground at Nav Beacon, and a high ratio of suicidal would-be NPC pirates interdicting you with small crates ( Sideys and Eagles) !

No trace of human Cmdrs...

Departing from my usual supporting a faction thing except for credit donations about 100LY away from pand i found 2 systems that have anice little profit margin and with a fitted cobra with a 25LY range and the 2 systems in question have stations on entrace at nav point only about 20 and 30LY out - the run is proving a nice little earner to refill and replenish my credit balance.

Still fighting in Facece and doing some of the smaller missions (don't have much space in my Viper). I think once the civil war has ended I'll move on to pastures new. I'm pretty close to our "homeworld" with all the Mobius named stations in it so I dare say I'll pop in past.

I messed up a Black Ops mission today to kill a DropShip. I'd got it down to about 20% hull when it rammed me... and bye bye asp. Oh well, 900kCr insurance, but I did some rares runs and made it back.

All in all, an exciting evening really.

Avoided 2 on missions....Got caught by one.....

Yes it's a tactic that's been used a lot by NPC targets in high value missions twice now have been rammed by clippers just as I thought I had them on there knees, once in a viper and the second time in my asp (ouch) had to run a rares trip to pay for it. Still in and around the Lave system then will run home to Avalon and sell the rares picking up easy NPC pirates on the way who try and take my hard earned cargo.

If you haven't seen it yet (on Galnet) there's a community combat event on Ngaiawang - Sign up is at Dornier Terminal. In addition to the usual combat bonds there is a bonus to be applied based on your own personal contribution to the mission (based on money earned). So, um, yeah that's where I am (along with a fair few other Mobians).

Just had lunch (lettuce, cucumber, mayo, cheese, cottage-cheese and ham on brown with a glass of milk) and now heading back into trading Imperial Slaves and Gold between Junga and Thosiao; *trying* to build my rep with Empire so I can get to Baron and get my dirty, grubby mits on that Clipper. ^^

Decided to put some more effort working towards ASP this weekend, so I'm back at trading ... plotted me a route with seventy stops, to not get bored too quick doing A-B roundtrips. So now I'm visiting a lot of (for me) new systems that sell Rares and scanning undiscovered along the way for fuel money.

A check on the galactic map tell me that I'm only 750 LY from my starting point, but the good ship Orphan Child is passing through virgin, undiscovered country, so it feels like a lot further. Constantly playing on my mind is the fear that scanning these lonely icy balls is just OCD and I should pass on by to nicer systems, but if I don't scan them that means someone else will have to, and I can't let that fate befall another human being. Human beings, I may have forgotten what they look like, should have brought a mirror. And a razor. Damn, I miss beer.
