Just traded in my Eagle for a Cobra and off to try it out doing some Jaeger missions in support of AEDC.

I messed up a Black Ops mission today to kill a DropShip. I'd got it down to about 20% hull when it rammed me... and bye bye asp. Oh well, 900kCr insurance, but I did some rares runs and made it back.

All in all, an exciting evening really.

Yea....I'd advise everyone to take note of that......

Avoided 2 on missions....Got caught by one.....

Just finished some trading in and out of Cemiess, got a couple of bounties which finally took me to Novice combat rank.

And after a couple of missions for the Empire, gained a promotion to Master and the permit to the Empire home world.

Just grinding....Not making much...about 62000 per 14Ly round trip......

After a shit day at work.....I love it.....Just going through the motions....Relaxing....Nothing to prove......

Interdicted a few times.....Authority...No comms again......Eagle....He lasted about 30 secs......Dropship....Ran...could not be arsed and had high value cargo.....

All in all....Feel better about life now..........

Finally got myself a Cobra! Now I'm gonna upgrade it a lot and stuff, except I need to get some more cash to be able to do that. I've upgraded the shields a bit in case I get attacked in the meantime. Once I have a bunch more cash I suppose I'll hop over to Sol since that would logically be a good place to get the best upgrades. So far, though, I haven't actually flown the Cobra - I had to log off for dinner. But next session (tomorrow) I'm there .

Sol is a crap place for upgrades, great for tourism, though. Go to a high-tech system for all of your spaceshippy needs.

Having found a great bar in the Cemiess system that did a great old style Steak and Chips, I stopped trading for a while. Just as I finished up and was gearing myself up for more boring trading runs, an Imperial pilot respond alert came up. Informing all Imperial pilots that General Jockgit required work to be done. Not even bothering to refuel, I was back out among the stars and heading out to Hun Hi to inspect the Mobius platform. This is really where the Asp shines! A 115 light years is just eaten in a few jumps and still not have to refuel.

From there it was on to several other Mobius platforms.

Also got my Imperial Summons to Achenar, which included my system permit. After somebody thought I deserved a promotion to Master.

I've reached my self-appointed target for the new ship fund by ferrying rare, unusual and downright strange goods about the human-occupied sphere so now I'm just going to stop for one of the galaxy's best azure milkshakes at George Lucas and then switch to my exploration ship and find somewhere lonely to go.
