In the confines of ED and currently trading near Federation space, although I think I'm Empire at heart, I would like to introduce myself to this community - CMDR Emanon at your service!
I've only been playing since release but I've decided I should put on my big boy flight suite and go to some sort of open or larger private game instead of just playing on the little 3 person private session I had with a couple of friends (I'll convince them to come over as well).
The thing is I'm not even sure how to proceed? I know how to set up Team Speak and I know how to join this forum (as evidence here with my first post) but I'm not sure how it is you guys are creating "groups". Are you just hanging out in similar areas in Open or is there a mass ElitePVE or Mobius private session set up once you are added to a Friend/Group list? Or are members of this community just making their own little private sessions together?
I'm ready to experience more in the company of others so hopefully a newb (to the bigger groups/open but not the game) can join some of your out there? I would probably bring 2 others along for the ride as well, but I find we haven't been on at the same times so it has been getting pretty lonely out here in the vastness of space!
