Hello. Smitty here. Never played any multiplayered game before and would like to ease into it. Like the idea of friendly interaction with out having to constantly test my twitch skills. I am old enough to have played Elite on the C-64 after my hitch in the army.

Hello.

As you can see my nickname is Machinefeera... Commander Machinefeera.
I am just a 22 yo regular guy with serious interest in space exploration etc. I was never really playing Space sims. It all started after watching Gravity like 2 years ago. I started looking for any games that are somehow related with space, or actually are in space (Only games i played somehow connected to space before were Mass effect and Dead space). I found Kerbal space program and got addicted almost instantly. After a while all of a sudden space sim games started appearing everywhere, so i was really looking forward to Star Citizen and many others. Then during Christmas i somehow saw that there is another space-sim game called Elite:Dangerous (I had close to no info on it before). So i just went to check if it is already released...and it was (I found this game 2 days after it was released). I was sure i want this game so i bought it like 2 hours after watching some reviews etc. Now i am plaing it for about a month (Most of the time in Mobius group) and i love it more and more.

I wanted to thank You guys for making this comunity, it is nice to play in a group like this. I have never met a player ingame but i hope that will change.

Regards.
Machinefeera

Good day Commanders!

I am Thorvall here on the forums and CMDR Ian Fluenza in game.

I have never been much for PvP , mainly cause I suck at it! ;-)

My family belongs to the Federation in Sol system but I must leave and forge out on my own. The Federation is not for me any longer. I am seeking out something.... and I will know it when I see it, but until then I work for whoever pays me!

I am currently in the Hyades sector but don't know for how my much longer.

Be safe Commanders.

Too often PvP is a zero sum game, or worse.

PvE has the potential to be fun for all the humans involved.

Though if they ever invent sentient NPCs to be pirates, etc, then we're in trouble, ethically... :-)

Hi, my name is Barry and I'm from Manchester, UK. I'd describe myself as 'mature and friendly' so this looks like the group for me. Having been mugged a few times by apparent sociopaths in ships many times more powerful than mine (and me with an empty hold!), I'd like to play in a galaxy where I can choose whether I want to PvP and when.

I played the original Elite to death on my C64 back in the 80s, which should give some idea of how 'mature' I actually am.

Look forward to meeting you ingame.

Baza
