Unfortunately, UI+W takes you straight into the text box.

Trying to figure out how to go straight to private text on the comms menu. I press 2 to get the comms panel open which takes me straight to open text. I can't use the D button to progress in the tabulated options at the top of the menu, as I would in, say, the galaxy map, as it types that letter into the message area. To get to the PM text area I have to press ESC first, then I can tab along to the PM option.

Is there an easier way to get into the PM text panel?

There is an option (somewhere in Options > Controls, I think) to activate the text box immediately or not.

Currently the Purple Adder is parked up somewhere safe from the feds and their aggressive stance on Onionhead Radio. I'm flying the Medium Red - Type 6 for fun and profit, relaying new content directly to the Purple Adder when I have time.

Just upgrading my Cobra cargo storage to 24. The fitting screen confuses me somewhat. There appear to be two figure on the screen per compartment, and a E or C.

I don't think I can give my Cobra more than 24 cargo space.

I now have my repaints installed. I have gone for GREEN! My favourite colour.

My second favourite colour is MAGENTA! I would like to have flown around in a magenta ship >.<

I had my Cobra at 36/38....I think.....

But you would have to drop the basic scanner.....And juggle a bit...

Just sold the ship so I can't give you the precise loadout I had.....

Yes. I just found 2x 16 cargos. So now I have a cargo of 40!

Would be good to have some kind of "Where are you now" orientation, maybe sorted after Fed, Empire, Alliance, to read where everyone actually is and make it easier to find each other for winging up.
I have got the impression that not all online friends are shown in the galaxy map, may that be the case?
