Hello,
Was trying to find Cracked Industrial Firmware and Pharmaceutical Isolators for the past few days so that I could upgrade my Cobra with lvl 5 dirty drives.
No luck what so ever. Tried 5/6 ground station runs. Managed to get other stuff like MEF but no CIF. Went to 2 outbreak systems hung around for half an hour in each. No High grade emission source, thus no PIs.

Luckily I still had 1 CIF and 2 PIs from back before 2.2 dropped, so decided to head to Palin's to try my luck.

1st and only roll. 132% increase in optimal multiplier.
My Cobra now does 388 m/s and 555 m/s (boost). Going to put on light weight Armour mod on her mil-grade and see if I can get her to go faster.

As for gaining speed with the light weight armor mod, I wouldn't hold my breathe if I were you. When I did that mod to my Vette and Python (both with Mil-grade), the cruise and boost speeds barely changed at all. The jump range got some benefit though.

Thanks for the help with the CIFs, JL. I'll check it out.
Going to want the CIFs for my lvl5 PD upgrade.

My experience with my Python and lightweight armour was that it did give a bit of a nudge. Not much. You're right about the jump range though.

I've had an EXTREMELY productive evening. Realised I had most of the Mats needed for L4 FSD rolls only needed Manganese so went to Vulcan of all places and found 20 in a very short time (I also found 12 Antimony, which I believe is rare) and then, through the power of module storage and transfer, I upgraded the Viper MkIII with said upgrades without having to to travel with it at all!

Also did a quick L4 roll on the Asp X and got that up to 39.1LY on a full tank, although it does now get a bit toasty on the jump, especially if I've just had to boost away from an interdiction. May have to put a heat sink on it for emergencies.
