Went mining in my Python. Had stuff from previous mining trip (accumulated for mission.) Master FGS shows up.
FGS: "I just want all your cargo and things will go smoothly."
Me: Deploy weapons, turn around, KWS scan. "Sure. Let's start with my Overcharged Multi-canon shells and Large Pulse lasers 1st."
FGS: Starts shooting.
Me: Shoot back.
FGS: "You're asking for it"
Me: Keep shooting.
FGS: BOOM!!!
Me: Send out collectors to get materials.

I watched quite a lot of the newer Battle Star Galactica last night till late. I think the bit were Starbuck flies into Appolo to snage his ship and save him when he is wreaked must have gone into my sub conscious.

I was running missions between Ceos & Sothos picking up log range as I went.
The Conda is almost full, padding it out with Crystal Gold when up pops a Smuggling mission to Sothis. 9.2 M for 32 units, well I'm going past anyway so....

Fully laden Conda and I think time to put my old LRS skills to use.

Set course, launch, line up with the exit (hell I can even see the jump point).
Full power! & boost!

Clipped something on the exit and spun out sideways/backwards... 'Under attack' so I flipped her over (stop it) and hit boost again expecting station aggro. Boost, boost, Jump.

My apologies to any Commanders witnessing this and any damage caused by wet trousers and side splitting laughter (my sides still hurt).

That damn speed limit is just a suggestion anyways.... And if you can be at full throttle and come IN boosting through the slot tossing full reverse, landing gear and an anchor down and get away with just hull damage, you're doing it right

I thought it looked more like pacman than a monkey when I was out there last month.

That it does, even on the two images I posted. Of course it looks like he had finally been caught and turned into a ghost.

Still, from any angle where you can see those two "eye-holes" on the left side, my brain interprets it as a face. It does look more monkey than human, although that could very well be simply because of its name.

Also, building up my gaming setup (Couchpit? HOTASAOC?) Some more this week. Already put up a tablet on a boom arm for discord, ED Toolbox, inara, etn.io, etc., and have some boom arms and VESA mount trays coming to put a keyboard with the tablet and computer. (The right couch cushion is still fine for the mouse.) I may have to post pictures of this monstrosity.
