And here I managed not to die yet this patch..

With server issues today I tossed my chips in and has resorted to wear out my refresh button instead since it seems like my vive was shipped this afternoon.
And given a bit of luck I will be setting it up tomorrow :D

Well my hold is now so full of engineers shite I cannot take the delivery missions which pay the engineers shite I actually need without dumping the engineers shite I will need for future gambling.....

The missions do seem to have improved somewhat.....

I could have stacked two sentry kill missions for 12 sentries that would have paid a combined 5+ million and it was ranked as novice..

Against a +++ I don't think so somehow......

Every time I landed the SRV got stuck under the ship and I had to dismiss.....

Lost connection to server and could not get back in without a full system restart......

Plus other numerous little niggly things.....Getting stopped dead by a fecking pebble is one worthy of mention

I have the patience of a saint......But it is wearing very thin at the moment.....

I don't want to speak for the other guys, but I think theirs is too.....

Still here's hoping......

This is what I do.
I find my self having crappie in the hold.
I quickly check inara's engineer materials subsection and do a page search for it.
This then lists all the mods that commodity is used for and if you can simply buy it off the market.

If I don't see myself needing the mod or you can buy it off the market, then out the door it goes.
Tomorrow is tomorrow's tor's problem, and fuck that douche.

Hello,
Been reading about the new easy AI on the main forums. But my experience with the new AI last night after the patch update was anything but easy. E.g. Took forever to take down a deadly Python. Couldn't hit his PP cause he kept turning to keep my Corvette in his sights, better turns than my unmodified Python used to do. It was an interesting fight none the less. Then got swarmed and had to bug out. But that's normal.
So anyone have an easier time with NPCs now? Thought the patch was only supposed to reduce intradictions, limit level of intradictors and only allow Master and above NPCs to have mods. I personally don't mind NPCs being less difficult now.

Have fun, fly safe. o7

I've yet to experience interdictions with the new AI, prior to today I couldn't get out of one with my unmodded A-rated Python.
I've only played a little bit last night. I've been practising on my FA-Off manoeuvrers so perhaps I've gotten a bit better myself.

My personal observations from playing 2 hours with the updated AI
Warzone (low intensity)
The ships in there are better prepared for combat. Master level AI are no problem fighting one-on-one. It starts getting tricky with Dangerous and Deadly pilots. A Elite Python was too much to handle by myself. Although one-on-one I could keep the fight going, I just couldn't do enough damage to take its shields down. I had to give up when two more ships started firing on me.

Resource extraction site (low)
A lot of low level AI, these ships are made of paper, even a wing of competent ships (Python and 2 Vipers) were doable. Same tactics as before, let them engage a target than pick off the ships. I've read reports that a commander's ship comes under attack and 3 seconds later they're dead. I can do the same to the novice AI, get into position and let all guns fire, it's all over in a matter of seconds.

Hello,
Just checked out the new AI in a High CZ and Low CZ. Nearly got my ass kicked in both due to swarming. After the 3rd round however things got way better. More green ships. Deadly and Elite Pythons are a still a major pain compared to before. But I find it ok. No complaints so far.

Have fun, fly safe. o7

Tried the docking computer, and it is pretty much useless at the moment.

Been searching for chemical distilleries, I'm not much for combat, but after killing roughly 40 ships at a nav beacon in an anarchy system I have decided that chemical distilleries are a mythical thing conjured up by Farseer to get rid of me.
