Gotta love Compromised Nav Beacons. Don't seem to generate as much money as Haz Res. But full of high ranked wanted ships.
And with the ALD bonus as JL mentioned. Ca Ching $ ;)

have spent the last few hours messing around with Opentrack and an old HTC Desire I found laying around... once i'd sorted the sensitivities out it wasn't too bad, although I assume that the gyro in it is b0rked as whenever I looked up it also moved to the right, which was kinda awkward. if anything all it's done it's cement the fact that i'm going to be wasting spending my bonus next week on a TrackIR setup :D  now it's sleep time

I think I would rather look at an EDtracker, http://www.edtracker.co.uk (http://www.edtracker.co.uk/shop/products)

Much cheaper but still something you have to attach to your noggin, but that's the case with trackir as well.

Personally I went for an eye tracker as impulse get, problems with this is it has to mount it to your screen, and the device can't be further than about 70cm away from you, so that also goes for the screen..
And it took me about 6-8 weeks to get used to it...

I agree with Tor, ED tracker Pro is best bang for the buck unless you have Soldering skills and patience, then its the Regular DIY ED Tracker.

Two members of the A-Team (Dawg and Myself) use the ED Tracker Pro. Its a Big Thumbs up and a hell of a lot cheaper than TrackIR. If you have games that don't allow you to map joystick axis for head tracking, then you can use OpenTrack with ED Tracker. I have had mine since November and never play without it. I have used it in Warthunder, Cliffs of Dover, as well as ED. With WT and COD I used it with OpenTrack and didn't have an issue, although many who do this want the extra axis of Lean Forward/Back Up/Down Lean Left/Right. ED Tracker is 3DOF where TrackIR is 6DOF.

Now Cmdr. Kharma (another A-Team Member) uses TrackIR and he uses it for more than ED. He had it prior I believe as he had it for DCS World and X-Plane. I have used a friends TrackIR as well. It is great and Kharma may argue this point with me, but I don't think it is worth the extra cost. If you need the extras that you can get from TrackIR in other games, and YOU think the extra cost for it is worth it, then that is a good choice for you.

From Mine and Dawgs Experience, and I am sure he will pipe up when he sees this, is that the ED Tracker works Awesomely, and the Price for us non-able kit making types for someone else to ship me a little box and cable that works and has a warranty is hella cheap compared to other options.

Precisely it also seem the cost of a trackir varies greatly between regions.
Seems the US can get one for about $100 but for me in Norway it would for some insane reason be at least twice that.

And I'm siting on pins needles as is waiting for my VR HMD which is plenty expensive...

The ED Tracker Pro is definitely the better value, but wasn't an option when I bought my TrackIR 5 Clip Pro. With 6DOF, the TrackIR offers a more natural head tracking movement, is very responsive, and is fairly high resolution. I've never felt nauseated using it. I believe the ED Tracker is a little less responsive and has a lower resolution, which requires extra smoothing, which makes some people feel nauseated. At least that's what I've heard. I bought the Clip Pro version because I don't wear hats. If you don't mind wearing a baseball cap, then you can save a lot of money just using the reflector clips. Some say the Clip Pro is fragile, but I've never had a problem with it. I also don't throw my headset when I get angry, or drop it, or knock it on the floor.

P.S. I'm 47,000LY out on the way home after a CTD for no reason.
It's time to give this another go.

Finally had enough to purchase a Python with insurance.

Got a D rated FSD, no shields and a large cargo bay. Now typically all the missions offering me large payouts for a delivery have disappeared.

Where is the Class 5, 6, and 7 gear nearby to Azrael?

Need to hold my nerve and rough it for now. I know the Python will be awesome, eventually - but the E rated FSD returned a route of THIRTY-ONE jumps to complete a mission. :(
