Thanks, Flip, for this tip on using imgur to host pics. If anyone doesn't already have a good photo editing program, I'd still recommend IrfanView (free) to convert the the BMP to JPG before uploading. Anyway, I tried imgur a few weeks ago and it didn't work quite right. And I see some others are also not getting the clickable link. I played around with the options and came up with these expanded instructions. Notes are under each pic.

This is Flip's original post. When you copy the link from imgur, it is missing the highlighted ".jpg" in the middle of the code. You can just insert this after you paste the code from imgur (or whatever file type extension you uploaded).

Here's the page you get after uploading an image to imgur. You want to use the last option, "Linked BBCode (message boards)". Just r-click to highlight, ctrl+c to copy and then ctrl+v to paste it into your reply (or just use mouse/menu options). I'd also recommend just leaving the "Original" size selected, as the board will resize it to display in your browser. After pasting it into your message, don't forget to edit the code to add the missing image extension type (.jpg or whatever) right before the [img] tag.

If you forget to add the missing image extension to the code, you will get this when you l-click or r-click & open in a new window. At least that's what I'm getting with my operating system and browser settings - your mileage may vary. Of course, you can always preview and test click your images.
