Nice ASP!

I too am an ASP fan, can do everything in that I want to do, and have had one as my main ship for three months now. With that said, with 1.4 also purchased the FAS, and I have to admit I really like it a lot. I tend to use my ASP as a smuggler...it is A-rated and can fight pretty well, run if I need, an haul cargo, and in a pinch I can go exploring. I use the FAS if I want to do some REZ BH or PP Credit Voucher Hunting, as well as short range smuggling within a hundred LY.

Both are great ships and have a purpose for me.

Looking forward to the new ASP SCOUT that is coming in 1.5.

I was considering the Assault Ship / Gunship before I decided to put the money into my Anaconda, the reason for this was that, despite the weak shields, the armor of the Fed ships is really good. But, where they really seem to shine is the hull MASS. All three variants are more massive than an Anaconda, which--of course--means that their jump range is sub par, but it ALSO means that using any of the three ships as a flying battering ram is actually a viable weapon. With semi-decent shield boosters and semi-decent shields, ramming other less-massive ships with any of the Fed variants does a LOT of damage (unless they changed something since I flew them.)

I know it's a little unconventional...but it's a heck of a lot of fun screaming "RAMMING SPEED" and seeing someone's shield disappear while their hull drops 30-40%
