Hi everyone.

I'm a UK-based player and you'll find me in game as Cmdr Cairnburn.

Having played the original Elite way back on a CPC6128 I've loved E:D since day one and I always will. Whilst I have over 1,000 hours in-game now, like @Errer404 above I've been a bit of a 'solo' hermit. But I'm keen to be able to take part in more of the features like wings and wing missions, multi crew, getting into the Guardian lore, etc. RL limits my game time but I'm also really keen to get involved with DW2 - I've done the run to Beagle Point and back but would be incredible to re-visit as part of a fleet.

I've signed up to discord but am a complete noob for that / chat / wings commands generally so any help appreciated! Hope to see you in the black and fly safe Commanders.

Hey everyone,

my name is Tbjoern. I've been playing Sci Fi games for over 10 years now, starting with Freelancer when I was 12.
I'm enjoying the game a lot so far, doing mostly bounty hunting and trading. I recently worked my way to a Python, which I'm currently using to collect bounties to upgrade it.

While doing the current Community Goal I winged up with some friendly cmdrs in Haz Rez sites, which was quite fun. Up until the point where two guys in Top-Notch Cutters jumped in and made short work of our wing. This happened three times in a row, which was where I gave up and went back to solo. This was quite frustrating, as I lost a lot of hard-earned credits.

Playing in a wing was a lot of fun though, which is why I'm looking forward to joining this group!

I'm here because I want to be able to do community goals without having to look over my shoulder for suicide winders and to 'escape' some of the senseless killing (aka ganking) that's taking place at popular locations. All that without having to cut myself off from friendly CMDRs.

Apart from playing Elite, I'm a computer science student at the Technical University of Berlin and I work as a QA Tester at a startup.

My time in Elite has been mostly dominated by being a part of the Fuel Rats, and when I'm not collecting bounties or grinding for credits I'm probably doing that and you can always find me in our IRC.

My current hangar holds:
- an Anaconda "The Stephen Hawking" for trading, ratting and exploring.
- an FDL "Der Gerät" for anything combat-related.
- an AspX "Nova" which I use far too little.
And an odd Viper or so for a bit of cheap fun.

In RL I am Uilly, currently residing within the Sun Belt region of the U.S., and I work in battery manufacturing. I gravitate toward PvE as I enjoy roleplaying within multiplayer games immensely since I got into Neverwinter Nights, and my own anecdotes have lead me to think that in large unmoderated PvP environments you do not get the playerbase community that best fosters an open and vibrant roleplay environment that focuses on my favorite aspect of RP, mutual storytelling through characters.

IG, I am CMDR Xavier MunChuuChrr (PSN MunChuuChrr and within E:D CMDR Munchuuchrr), a Federal Republican and patriotic supporter of the Una PLC corporation, working as a logistical support and salvage recovery contractor for Una PLC and the Federal Navy. Hi There

I'm Thomas. I'm 34 years old, Software Engineer and live in Switzerland with my wife and two kids. I started to play E:D a while ago but had to stop again because I didn't had time to play. I recently started again and so far I played solo to get to know the game.
But now I'd like to get to play together with others as I go through the ranks. At the moment I'm trying out exploration. Space combat is not (yet) my thing (especially PVP).
I found out abou Mobius and felt the strong need to join, so here I am.

I hope I get to spend some quality space time with you all.
