Hi all. First time joining an online gaming group. Heard some good things about you guys and thought, "hey, what the heck, I'll give it a shot".

Been playing for a month. Loving the game so far. Tis really fun.

I am not a mod\communtiy manager, or representative of the Mobius groups in any way, I have just been hanging around here awhile.

First things, Mobius is less of an active player group, it's more like a plattform that facilitates players, old, new, young, old to play under the agreement of "don't fucking shoot anyone" apart from that there are no demands, just opportunities.
Elite is not a real MMO in any honest definition, it may be a massive, multiplayer game, online.
But it's not a Massive-Multiplayer, online game.
In fact it tends to break in various ways as soon as more than four players meet in any given instance
It's subtle at first so most won't notice much until there are a dozen or so, although this is somewhat rare.

Like with reality, space in ED is big, and the game has little to none ways of finding other players.
I recommend using the forums, the discord server\TS etc.
Do not fear voice coms, they are great for games like this when your hands are busy with piloting.

Soon one of the mods will pop on and post their wall of text with all the pertinent links and whatever.
