Official forum Question

Postby Relix Typhon » Mon Nov 21, 2016 11:30 pm

Is there a way to search a thread on the official forums for only Staff posts? The little elite symbol tells you if there are staff posts and how many if you hover over it but only takes you to the first one if you click it.
I'm not really interested in anyone else's opinion and dont want to trawl through dozens of pages looking for them; also, staff normally quote if they respond to questions so that's not an issue.

If you click the elite icon at the top right of every staff post it will take you to the next staff post

You can also click the name of the forum poster in the left-hand column and choose to see all the posts of that contributor without having to log on.

There's a similar facility on this forum, but you must be logged in.

Brilliant, thanks.

I have done this to good effect but if multiple staff members have posted on a single thread, it wont show this.

If you are using discord already, join the EDCD (elite dangerous community developer) discord, and hang out in the feed channel. They have a bot running that posts links to all developer posts into the channel, complete with the first few sentences. Among others, you also get all galnet articles.

I do have a discord account but I don't make nearly enough use of it. I've been on it like twice. I must make time to use it more.
