Found some nice goodies in the new Combat Aftermath USSes.

Took an Eagle out just to remind me of what's it's like. Pretty disappointing in how slow and poorly maneuverable an A-rated Eagle is compared to ships like an Asp Scout and Imperial Clipper. Shields don't last long either. I suppose it could have something to do with all the deadly and elite NPC spawns.

I just entered human space for the first time in about 6 weeks, after visiting a bunch of nebula rimward.

I landed at Obsidian Orbital, so I could use their Black Market to get rid of all the survey data caches I had collected. Oddly enough, I saw a hollow square on my scanner as I came into the station, which was both comforting and a bit troubling after not seeing another ship for so long. I sent a salute to CMDR Lexxor, but he must have been AFK at the time.

Tomorrow night I plan to hop over to Farseer to sell off all the exploration data I collected and maybe get my FSD tuned.

It was very nice of FD to release this patch for me right before I returned to the bubble.

Actually, that is the second official "help Jaques" mission, and it is a mining CG. The problem is that Jaques does not have restock, so once your initial supplies of limpets is gone, your choices are going back to scooping manually, or making a quick 44 kly resupply run.

And we have the Galactic Nebula Expedition coming up as well, looks like it leaves before the mining CG ends.

This is going to require really careful juggling.

Winged up for about 5 minutes with Geopan last night. Total failure due to instance disconnects, but managed to collect enough Polymer Capacitors to boost my shields to 4740.1 (7A SG with G5 tune, 7xG5 and 1xG4 Shield boosters)

Had an issue while popping a 7A SCB with the cargo hatch that malfunctioned and lost some engineer stuff... Oh well...
Changed it to 6A SCB and will go to Elvira to tune it a bit and decrease the heat
Plus saved 40t so now jump range is at 17.76ly

I've started looking around the Formadine Rift area, in particular I'm doing the Heisenberg Bridge and detail scanning everything on the way. I'm amazed given the number of people that have been this way that there are so many undiscovered planets in the systems that I'm going through, given that the choices of path are so few.

Who knows, maybe this trip will get me to Elitein Exploration. It would be nice
