In between annoying interdictions, stopping to scoop fuel, and an obnoxious amount of wifi/XBL disconnects tonight, I've finally made it to my first stop on my first Ceos/Sothis runs only to be dropped upon docking. It's taken me about 2+ hours now to go ~390LY.
I miss the fantastic fuel scoop capability of my Asp, and of course the range. Currently in a Cobra MK IV to "try it out". Overall I like the ship but hate it's range, hate it's scooping even more. I might see if any of my stops have good shipyards worth visiting once I'm done with my deliveries.

If only I could stay connected for more than 5-10 minutes at a time.

I think I still have about 18500ly to go, I did about 1000 the first day and 2500 last night. I sacrificed some cargo space for an 8C scoop, but I plan to be out here for a while anyway so mine is an exploration build with only 256T cargo capacity. It really makes a big difference coming from a 6C scoop, I'm glad I upgraded. I've messed up a couple of times by getting too close to the stars, 2 of 6 heat sinks used and about 10% of my AFMU, but that's just the way it goes when you can only play late at night. Hopefully Jaques will be able to repair & restock everything when this is all over.

In a decent Asp (non Eng) Asp you can cut the jumps to 20ish or less, makes a hell of a difference. I am running it in a Conda (standard) and 23-19 jumps depending on set off. It is only 45 sec a jump so no problem really.

Very important to do the base-work and get allied before expecting any decent missions.

10,180.14LY left to Jaques.

One thing I find just so curious, is why humans haven't spread out this far en masse. I mean, the star density of this area is insane. You could colonize and spread like wildfire throughout this single area at PREAE AIN EI-J B9-16. There are so many habitable worlds in this sphere.. it's insane that we're stuck in dark space. I mean, our "bubble" that we start in is essentially dark space compared to here.

I hope the end of Horizons/2.x Season is the mass exodus of an entire faction to the new and better space nearer the core.

*edit*

Just broke that 10,000LY barrier. Getting so freakin' close. 9,798.87Ly to Jaques. :D

Aloha! I just started to my first big tour yesterday. An no - not to Jaques Station. That's a little bit too far for me (now). ;) (The longest run before was 500 LY away from the bubble...)
Right now I'm about 2500 LY away with my Asp Exp and everything is exciting! I recently jumped into a system with my first neutron star which was coincidentally also my 1000 unique system i've visited. :)
