I found after stacking the surface assault missions (ones which don't appear in the list to hand in) makes it faster as your charity mission and the repeat mission are on the screen without having to scroll down. Also i got the 15k+ mission faster at the star-port above the planetary base in the guide. If you are having no luck and get say a 10k mission just take that and keep looking for the 15+k and if it doesn't show after say 20 minutes just spend a half hour spamming the 10k one.

Your lucky having loved ones who play! I cant get the missus to play, got her an account and everything, got pc's side by side but her account is just my trade beacon account now, hopefully they will put cute micropiglets and fairys in the game somehow so she will be interested and will play with me xD

Edit : Oh also don't abandon failed missions, they count for filling the quota so once your at 99 your good for using the technique without building your missions again until you reach king, and if you mess up and forget to click your refresh mission before handing in the charity mission if you log out and back in it will re appear saving you from spamming relogs and waiting for a new 15k one for half an hour.

There were a couple other things I wanted to try from your build, the chaff and shield cells. Mine is a quick strike predator, she gets behind you and takes out your power supply before you know what happened, yours looks like a fighter. Thanks for the input.

Glad to help. One of the things I love about this game is that you can configure the ship to tailor fit your play style.

Yes mine is set up for long-duration fighting, usually in a RES or combat zone. The second SCB and chaff are turned on once the first ones are emptied and shut down.

I got to 100 missions, then closed 1 to have 99, and spent the evening logging in and out to get a charity mission - no joy. Went to the penal colony this morning, but they only had un-aligned ones, went to the station at noon, and didn't find any by the time I had to go to work, but still plugging! I just told them I was gonna work from home so I could continue the search for imperial charities!
Ya, I think my wife is the best, we met gaming, and have been gaming together for over 20 years. And oddly enough, the kids are much the same. And of course that attracts great friends like ours. ( ~ You can game if you want to, you can leave your world behind. 'Cause your friends don't game, and if they don't game, well they're no friends of mine~)

Updates to above -
Looking at the new Duke. Nice exploit or blarg. I talked to one of the guys at XBox about it. (We work in the same building) He laughed and said players were always finding stuff like that, and game designers get used to it, and plug em up. I might go get king before they plug that one up! And of course, being able to buy the Cutter, and having the scratch to, are a far cry from each other. (Back to work)

We hang out in LTT 15574 and have since forever. And being new players, we tend not to stray far. It was the first place we found with good stations, bounty hunting, mining, good missions and so forth. Now that I'm running around to Fehu and Diaguandri, and DX 799 and Cubeo, and Altair more on various trading and businesses, I'm finding better places to hang our collective hats. Azrael looks good, and is fairly close to diaguandri (Alright, I admit it, I'm a ship-whore, and I just sold 3 ships to outfit the clipper) But so much of what we do is predicated on mining and bounty hunting, with a smattering of trading, what's the attraction there? Is it the missions? Or just a meeting house?

Thank you to those who have extended friendship requests, and great advise. I'm really glad I found this group. BTW, do we own Inara, or does it just seem that way?

Azrael is the home system of our player faction, the Order of Mobius so a lot of commanders choose to call the area home. There are a lot of great systems nearby for RES hunting (Exioce, Gende, Dvorsi, and many many others), and the closest pristine metallic rings for mining is Jura.
