First off, thanks everyone for such a large PvE community existing. I was disheartened at first to learn that I was stuck with either Online with griefing everywhere, solo play, or small groups. This group is amazing since I can get the experience of many players online without the griefing.

A little about me. I'm brand new to E:D, and I purchased Horizons against the advice of pretty much every reviewer out there. While I agree that there's not much content to Horizons, I'm glad to be able to drop in on a planet just for the immersion and beauty factors. It has been worth it for me.

I'm currently settled in at LHS 3505 in my first Sidewinder working towards a Viper. I'm very into the bounty hunting thing for now, but I'd like to eventually experience all E:D has to offer (Yes, even mining). I'm a pretty social player, but currently lack a headset for proper use of TS.

If you're in my area, let me know. I'd be glad to fly with some people!

There are lots of bounty hunters here, so I'm sure have plenty of opportunity to wing up with others. You are right that Horizons is a little sparse at the moment, but remember that it's a whole season so I'm sure (fingers crossed) there are plenty of good things to come, and as you'll no doubt get too see some of our group are finding an awful lot of things to do on planets (mostly blowing up admittedly )

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

As Xebeth mentioned, we have a lot of bounty hunters in our group, and I'm definitely one of them.

If you make you way to our home system of Azrael, you'll find several commanders in the area to wing up with... including yours truly.

We have great trade routes and a solid system for mining nearby as well.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I may try to make it out to Azrael. Place has a cool name, even if I know nothing about it. Hopefully there's something there that can match or beat LHS 3505 for bounty hunting. LHS 3505 Is a pretty sweet system, but I'd rather be near people I can wing up with. Well, sometimes at least. I'm not sure how much of a hit efficiency takes when winged up with only one pilot getting the bounty and all. But once I'm out of my sidey I won't be as worried about credits. ;-D

Well, went next door to Azrael to do some bounty hunting, followed a deadly clipper with 132k bounties on him for a long time taking pot shots here and there to keep him mine, and one of my new Mobius friends swoops in out of nowhere in an Asp and pops him after I'd been working him for quite a while. Back to solo I go until I can get out of this damned sidewinder.
