I found that quad fixed c3 pulses work surprisingly well in my combat conda (or 3 backed up by cannon or plasma), especially with A rated thrusters to help with lining up the salvoes. They also ignore chaff and fire for ages ^_^

The remaining 4 hard points use turrets or gimbals to deal with the smaller ships (in case they survive the quad pulse alpha strike)

I can't get on with the Vette for love or money. Tried various loadouts and although it is much quicker and manouverable, I still find the Conda to be the ultimate war ship.

That's one of the great things about this game.... different ships and different load outs for different people with different flying styles. :D

Federal Corvette and Anaconda firepower

Postby evovi » Fri Jan 22, 2016 1:08 pm

A lot of people slate the viper - like you say ships - either love em or hate em, spent many an hour in my viper and love it, with my love of the viper, cobra, vulture and now imp eagle - I fear I won't be ably to settle Into one of the bigger ships - I like to fight close in and a python I can't see letting me do that...

Whilst I aim to own every ship in the game - just hope I can convert..

I do enjoy seeing that corvette fly around, amazing looking ship - until you see it's shield rings just turn off ;) hey johnluke :p

The FDL is pretty darn agile, so it would be a great 'next ship' after your Vulture for strictly combat use.

LOL on the shields, Auloria. :) I blame Mikey for asking about the wing beacon and I dumb thumbed it in the menu. They really shouldn't have silent running right below wing beacon.

And that's probably the main reason I'm still playing. :)

Hey I'm Thor -
People call me Bob.

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.
