Greetings fellow Commanders,

I just got my join request accepted, so I thought I'd come say hi. I'm Jasdahlk (in-game and forum username), and I'm a 20-something who's been a gamer since I was knee-high to a Tuscan Raider. (Wrong universe, sorry.) I'm fairly new to the Elite scene; I picked up the game during the Steam Winter sales, and have been playing fairly frequently since then. The game is a lot deeper than I originally gave it credit for, and I feel like I'm still only scratching the surface as I browse forums and subreddits and learn about lore and mechanics I hadn't even heard of yet.

I'm still trying to find my place in the galaxy, but I thought finding a group to play with and learn from might help me get a bit deeper into it. I look forward to meeting the collective "you" and getting better at Commanding!

You are certainly correct about the depth of E-D. I've been playing for nearly a year and still learn new things every week!

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
