Before anything: merry Northern to all (since not a clue who celebrates what, this new Holiday name).

I am Belgian, 45 going on 16, married now 23 years this coming may, 4 daughters in between 13 and 19, and a late son of 4 years.
I live in Antwerp, I'm blessed with autism (Asperger-Savant) and ADHD, had in 1999 an accident on the job: fell from a 5 stories building (the roof was a bit smaller than anticipated), landed into a wheelchair, and since then I am on disability.
I am interested in everything that is science and/or technology (although this, lately, lessened; had a massive heart attack, and ever since, well... not THAT interested anymore...).
I like ACTUAL horror, sci-fi, action, the more typical movies (I was very disappointed about that fluke Sith wannabe in SW7, hell, even Kermit is more scary and threatening), I am a music nut ( from heavy Baroque over heavy Classic to heavy Opera, 40's to 90's, but I prefer Black/Death metal.

I've played so many games i could probably fill up a small phone book, in most of them I had my own clan, or I was a high ranked officer.
Dedicated to help players, whenever possible, is something i really enjoy.

I think you'll find quite a few here that share your musical tastes (well the Black/Death metal parts anyway ).

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

As for becoming involved, I'll read up, and see where i can fit in.

For those that need/want a hand: Just add me to your ingame list, and give me a yell, OR simply ask here o the forum.
Especially newcomers to the game might want a small boost to get into their Viper or Cobra.
We can team up and hit a HRES with Large Ship spawn.
Will be quite a wee faster than the missions/trading will give you.

PS: I do not assist Pirates, since these are the main enemy to my character.

Simply add your Commander name to the thread, then others can choose to add you to their friends list. To add people to your friends list in game go to the main menu, choose FRIENDS AND PRIVATE GROUPS, then choose + ADD FRIEND, then just search for the person you want to add and click ADD. Anyone who has listed themselves in the thread can be added.

Is there something like a role play going on?

Not formally, but many of our member do RP.

The forum you were sent to I'm guessing is the Order of Mobius sub-forums, this is our player faction, it's a bit quite at the moment due to the problems with the BGS, but when that is fixed it should become a hive of activity again.#

Ah, bloody marvelous, thank you good Sir.

We need a "Corporation"/Clan/whateverthenameforgroup and a home base, like in for instance EVE.
So we could make Clan-based mining ops and the like.

Maybe we could organize a war, Empire vs Rebels... no wait, wrong movie, um...
