I'm all for S&R. Although I'm not a member of the Fuel Rats and have not used their services (yet), I do appreciate people who take the time off from their own goals in the game, to help others.

Also, did FD announce who won the skin design challenge? I don't think any of the skins that were designed are in the store. At least I don't see a new Conda skin apart from the gold one.

FD might want to make skins a revenue stream but they seem to really suck at it. They should learn from GW2.

I'd love to see all the prominent groups get skins in the shop at the very least. Small, active groups like the rats should really have the paint gifted to all current members. I'd be giddy if mobius got the same courtesy, but free skins for 14000 players seems a little beyond reason

Just supported - and while I'm not shocked at the FD forum discussion that's only because they have once again reduced themselves to my extremely low expectations.

The Fuel Rats can police themselves and should get some kind of reward for giving to the community in a positive way. A paint job makes perfect sense. It's rather like the folks in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. They actually pay for the privilege of helping others, because they believe in it. So they get to wear a slightly modified version of the Coast Guard uniform - and fly the flag on their boats when on duty.

I haven't had to call for Fuel Rat help (yet) but I do think it's pretty important we recognize and reward those who are willing to work for the greater good. I would hope that FD would recognize that not all in the galexy will be self-centered and selfish...

I voted the moment I saw this thread, hell I wasn't even registered in the frontier forums since I'm new. But you never know even you'll need help and when you do it's too late for regrets.
