Yes, engage landing gear before DC, works every time.
I had to offer the same advice to another Mobian earlier. He thought I was a terribly good pilot until I told him about the bug...

Yes, I've got out, killed a Python and a Sidewinder and got back in without a scratch, both times with landing gear out!
I don't use DC.

This Cutter is good also but I A rated it like I did with the Corvette test.
I think the Cutter turns somewhat slower than the Corvette but it can have more cargo and it's more beautiful.

Just a reminder that both Kaushpoos CGs are still running. The new station in Maia (visible on beta) still needs computer components to make it work. And protecting the traders is still running. Can sign up to both at the same time.

Its definitely a slower handling beast than the Corvette, I took an A rated Cutter into both a RES and CZ and it was ok but for me its the trading ability I am drawn to with it. Definitely going to be getting one when they come available in the main game for an armed trading ship. Oh and it sounds gorgeous as well :D

Oh, I don't know. With class 4 PP, thrusters, and shield, it held it's own against anything I threw it against. No power or maneuverability problems and shields can take a pounding. And it sounds good too. My only problem was firing a class 4B SCB would raise the temp 100 points and heat damage the modules a little bit (even with hard points retracted). I suspect that's a bug, unless it has happened with other ships. I didn't try a class 3 SCB.

On to the next ship. :)

Hmph - never had a problem with the Vulture or Python, the only other ships I've used them with.
It's time to give this another go.

Finished my second round of Lazy Fehu Hauling.

Started Saturday with 38 mill. Ended tonight with 110 mill.
Got Promoted to Earl and to Trailblazer.
I am just a few % off a jump to Entrepreneur (this I am happy with because I have not done a single trade run the old fashion way. It is all from BB missions).
Still Just Competent. Need to work on that.
But I want to grind out to my Python first. A little short right now to get her the way I want, even with a 15% discount.

From what I've read heat in general is greatly messed up, even a second too long in silent running will cause massive damage and I'm guessing getting too close to a star will be bad to, neutron binary trap would probably be death.

I've managed to get to Rear Admiral with the feds and Baron with the Empire.
