Trade Voucher/Dividend Without Wing

Hello fellow commanders! A quick question. And as Mobius is the only group I play in and because I respect our member's knowledge of the game, I'm asking here instead of on the official ED Forums.

I returned to the game about a month ago and have been loving it. I get trade dividends/vouchers when I trade and I'm not in a wing. This happens for every trade. I was away from the game when they were properly introduced so admittedly I'm not familiar with the system from its inception. However, I can't find anything in searches that says that I should be getting these vouchers when not in a wing. Is this a bug (albeit a fortunate one) just with me? Are they buggy and this just happens sometimes? Or is this how they should be working?

Do you mean the 5% you get when others in your wing trade? If so, then no, you shouldn't be getting these if your are not in a wing. It's a bug, you may want to think about reporting it, whilst you'll obviously loose out in the future, it could be seen as exploiting a bug and you could get into trouble is FD find out.

Haha that would be fun. But I think there's probably enough trolls to go around on there. It's like a troll paradise on those forums.

I've only been in one wing before and that was a test wing (testing out the navlock functionality). Although I am definitely looking for more wing play now. Would love to fly in one. Anywho...

The trade dividends show up at almost every new station I trade in. Like if I trade something right now at a new station (one I haven't been to before), I will have about a 75% chance of getting a trade dividend issued to me.

So I think either it's a bug, or some game feature I don't understand. Are trade bonuses from Power Ranks issued as dividends? I am rank two with Edmund.
