If he had blown me up I'm in the fortunate position financially in the game to spend 30 million rebuy and say "so what" and simply go out again.

Whilst I don't accept he had any noble intention such as "bringing the community together" I have to say that that is exactly what DID happen. We had people protecting others, policing the station (I sooo wanted to burst his Eagle when it was sat there at 18% hull ) as best we could..... I could almost say it was "FUN"

But the thing is we could do all that in OPEN, whenever we wanted to. The people who play in Mobius simply want to choose when they have that sort of experience. That's why we play here, and that's why it cannot be allowed.

It is what happened. I was surprised at how quickly you guys organised a defence, and had a lot of fun playing cat and mouse with you all.

If you want to make easy cash, go to Fabian City in HIP 20277. There's a hazardous RES around 30ls away from the station, and it's in ALD space so you get all the bounty bonuses. Makes me around 6-7mil an hour. Also, nice to see another Australian on here!

To be fair, prior to 1.2, I believe the DC was the one that had too many toasts to kharma by trying to park you sideways on a landing pad.

Well the first time I used a DC upon release of the game, it literally was hit or miss. More hitting than missing. The damn thing would ram outposts head on, couldn't properly navigate the mailbox, or when it managed to get inside, would be sliding back and forth across the landing pad with your shields taking hits or nasty squeals of metal if they were already gone.

Entertaining and exciting if you have a load of cargo lol.

Hi, I don't know if this may have been me. About a week ago it did kill a ship without checking my scanner to see if the Cmdr was wanted. If it was me then you have every right to be Very Upset at me. Please understand though it was a mistake, one I will be trying not to repeat, I did then get wiped out by the Polizie so lost all my bounties (serves me right I know).

It probably wasn't you, but reading your post I fear you still made a mistake, albeit an forgivable one if you promise to stick to the rules in the future

Commanders with bounties are not fair game inside the group. Please re-read page/policy

Only in CZ on opposite sides and usually after acknowledging the intentions is PvP allowed inside the group.

And yes, I've never used a docking computer either. Waste of space if you're as obsessed with build optimisation as some are (myself included). Same with gimbaled and turreted weapons.

I get the bulid optimisation angle for the DC (which I've never used save for some jollies to see it work) but you are aware that gimbals and turrets have their places, right? Unless you've got your nose pressed against another ship there is no way to hit with fixed lasers and cannons at the same time. Maximising per-shot damage =\= optimised when you have no convergance. Extra time on target can easily outstrip the minor damage increase gained by a fixed weapon, and that's before we consider module damage. Even when considering chaff, a mix of weapons comes out on top.

Of course, I'm sure you know better than I, a lowly PvE player. Keep limititing yourslef to fixed weapons for their clear superiority. What would your friends think if you took PvP advice from a "care-bear"???
