Also: For the amount of firepower already present on an Anaconda, putting anything else in the small hardpoints really ends up being insignificant in terms of DPS, so it's all dependent on your play style. I very much like having hard-hitting seekers, even if I can only carry 12 for each HP.

Testing seekers on my medium slots on the trade conda myself now.
Only been interdicted once but they sure shut that little eagle up..
Kinda think a dual shot was overkill...

Hey I'm Thor -
People call me Bob.

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

Another thing for those question askers/answer seekers to keep in mind: Missiles and torpedoes can get a little pricey to reload, when compared to other weapons like MC and Cannons.

Its not that bad if you are used to PA and Rails. So much more fun watching them track and BOOM!

I have exactly the same as boxcar on my Conda, makes the 2 x small hard points a bit useful and as stated they are great for runaway small ships that have lost their shields. I have also used them on close up big ships so the Point deference doesn't have a chance to fire.

I'm trying to get a good DPS chart for this thread, but most of the data that has been gathered has been damage against shielded targets.

I'll keep looking, though.

For quick destruction of a single target when their shields are already down then torpedoes are great.

You can fire more than 1 at once. Damage is a bit mixed but generally very very large.

It seems that if you fire at point blank range then point defense fails, I think.

I use them on my Stealth Imperial Eagle (the two tiny class 1 hard points - 1 torpedo each).

If you have a single class 2 hard point it will instead have 2 of these exact same small torpedoes instead of 1 bigger one I believe. So that the class 1 and 2 hard points have the same torpedo just the class 2 has 2 torpedoes (though I have not tried this).

The downside is 2 tiny torpedoes cost 30,000 credits (15,000 each).

You can see the damage here - Stealth Imperial Eagle defeats FDL PVP - hits at 4:23 into the video see the hull drop from around 80% to 24% (I think):

Hello,
Just tested a C2 seeker missile setup on my Python. Put 1 in my medium slot. It's good for intradictions and one on one fights. But in a CZ I tried it against a Vulture, Conda, Courier, Eagle and Viper. Against smaller ships it's great. But against the Vulture it took about 4 shots to get the armour down. The Condas point defence was a bit overwhelming for the missiles. Fired 6 at the Conda and only 2 of them hit. Had to switch over to my MCs for the Conda and Vulture.
Also you have to swap over to the missile Fire group and point it at the target long enough to acquire the target. Seems initially like targeting using a fixed weapon.
Have fun, fly safe.
