Run DxDiag.......Click Start.....In the search box type dxdiag....The .exe should show.....
Click on it to run and check you only have one display showing.....
In PB1 I could not launch and it was down to a program I had called "I-Display".......DXdiag showed it as a second display and was interfering with the ED launcher...Some kind of DX hook or something.....
I removed this program and bingo I could see the launcher...........

Say what you like about Frontier but they do work like Trojans. I can't believe the speed that they push out the patches when they release new Beta's.

It worked!!!
I had previously removed my second monitor from the nVidia settings but found some remnants of Air Display which I use for FSX.
Removed these remnants and i'm now playing!

Any Software/video drivers forcing windows to deactivate aero (no glass look ) seems to block the launcher!
I have 2 USB monitors, if I deactivate them, it shows... if I forget it doesn't.

Anyone getting Audio glitches in the new patch?
I don't know if its my new Headphones (Corsair but I went with USB as I didn't want to fettle with my other set that are used in my DAW), or if its something in the patch.
I was also seeing some odd graphical glitches doing the 2nd Tutorial shooting the canisters, again it may be TrackNoIR causing it...
May need to go back in without the "added extras" running to confirm.

I didn't have any issues in the short session I had with 3.0, but with 3.01 I can't accept any missions from the bulletin board. They all come up with an instant failed message. Didn't have that yesterday
Can't submit a ticket either - or even log in - it just hangs on the log in page. Must be loads of people trying to submit tickets
