Hi, I'm Cmdr Draven Darken. I'm a former shuttle pilot, but am currently on the run from a false accusation of treachery by the Zachary Hudson administration.
More prosaically, I've been flying ED since the beta, although I recently reset my commander in order to launch a video series based upon my exploits. (I'll link to that in the Videos section.) I have, to date, strenuously avoided open play, as I simply don't think I am a sharp enough combat pilot (perhaps due to age) to deal with griefers, hackers or simply top-notch players, and my online open multiplayer experiences in other games heretofore have been uniformly bad, full of children, obvious exploiting of game bugs and rampant obscenity. But lately I've started flying occasionally in a private group with a friend of mine who recently picked up the game, and have been having some good fun in doing so, so I am now open to taking the next step, which would of course be to join the Mobius PvE group ... something I intend to do as soon as I figure out exactly how I am supposed to actually do so!
And I'll likely be encouraging my friend to do the same.
Edit: I've just found the forum page that explains how to join the Mobius group, by the way, so there's no need for anyone to reply to offer me guidance on that topic.
