I tried engaging silent running once it not only did it not make me harder to target, it also turns your shields off so the pirates kill you even faster..

Not the best plan.

A rather persistent npc dicted me 4 times on the trotters yesterday. I sc'd each time only to be dicted again. Then at the station he opened up on me again and found the Feds were unpleased and requested he pullover. In typical American cop fashion they shot him.

TFFT. I was carrying 500T of slaves. That would have been a big loss. 75% hull left. So not as bad as it could have been.

Submit immediately. 4 pips to shields, drop chaff and boost boost boost then SC when it cools. Most importantly DONT PANIC, just play it cool trigger, play it cool...

Chunks paint is down to 97% and Ill never get those scratches out with t-cut.

Had someone interdict me as I was jumping and it pulled them into the new system with me >.< But I have also had NPC's multidict me .. and two Anacondas that thankfully were stupid enough to fire inside a no fire zone..

I have lost four t9's so far to really gungho npc's,
Full load of cargo and 4mil rebuy on at least three of them.
First two times I even had shields on but I was looking at a rebuy screen before even the fsd cool down had started.

Ouch! Are you doing Powerplay, offhand? If so, and you're a trader, get back out asap. :) The interdictions I was getting while in PP were insanely worse than being non-affliated--mostly pythons and condas loaded for bear, or 3x Vultures. I fly a Clipper today, and would barely get out of those--a T9 would get creamed by those AI. Now that I'm back out of PP, it's back to "deadly" vipers, cobras, and imperial couriers, most of whom take very little time to disperse with my fully armed and operational Clipper.

By submitting to the interdiction, instead of attempting to evade, your frame shift drive will cool down and become available much, much faster. I trade with a T9 and had great success by just submitting & running. Now I have some weapons on the T9 so when I get interdicted I submit, boost, flight assist off, flip the ship around (traveling backwards now since assist is off) and open fire. 9 out of 10 I win, the other times I retract hardpoints and bolt. This all against NPC's...of course.

Well I have to admit to joining Hudson, defecting from Hudson to li yon ru, then defecting to duval, only to defect from her again all within an hour of joining Hudson....
So I probably had a few adjusters on my ass those first few times ;)

if I am able to I do, but sadly when it catches you in the middle of your countdown to jump your computer locked and cannot cancel the jump at that point... you are hosed
