performance Issue

Postby Jimpy3 » Thu Aug 27, 2015 11:31 pm

Hi , I am having trouble with my amd R9 290x with boost in game. Everytime i go into supercruise and there are other CMDR's or NPC's in the system I get really bad frame drops, not all of a sudden but gradually from 60fps right down to 10-15fps. It's as if the game is slowing down . I have tried many different answers from other sites including amd support site but nothing is working for me. I am on windows 10 and all my drivers are upto date.

Does anyone know of how I can fix this problem ?

Also I am not sure if this is the right place for this post, and I apologise if it is not.

In advance of a reply ... Thank You .

Can't say anything specific about your issue.
But ED is in general very vulnerable to network lag it's almost funny how better framerates get one logged into solo if it want a bit tragic..

Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

Do a search on the FD forums for Windows 10 and Catalyst Driver problem and you find that you are not alone in this regard. I am not sure of the cure, but between FD Forums and the /r/EliteDangerous Reddit will give you a lot of hits.
