Sounds good, Static. :) Daisy is a young flower and is slowing becoming stronger and wiser. She can certainly use some friends like you and Boxcar to 'teach her the ways' of the Python.

It was good to chat with you Sunday afternoon. ;)

Looks like a couple of changes in today's update will help:

Powerplay update 1.3.04 is incoming at around 11:30am (BST).

Client change log:

-Fixed low skilled ships appearing in RES points and conflict zones

- Fixed rating benefits for increased bounty and bond values

Yep, going to be checking all day at work to see what people report...

Last night me and boxcar were in Fusang, was a weird spawn. It started with low level large ships, which boxcar started. I joined him a bit later on in his instance, which shortly after switched to small high level ships (deadly, dangerous, elite). We both gained a percent or two in rank. Eventually the spawn flipped again to small low level ships at which I went to station. There was a good amount of time between switches.

So all reports I've read have been positive regarding ranking, though types of ships and number of ships seems like it could still be an issue. I don't care what kind of ships they are really as long as it's fun and makes decent coin.

One thing I have noticed since PP are wings functioning differently. Previously if you killed the "leader" of the wing the other two smaller ships would FSD the heck outta there. Now they will stick around afterwards to shoot at you.

The other thing I've noticed is spawns seem to ramp up/down and even change types of ships, so sticking around sometimes pays off.

Well, last night I tried two different RES locations. The first my home system Fusang, hit up the high intensity near Cleve Vision... 7 resets and all were slow small ship spawns with ranks ranging from expert to deadly.

Second system was in Millispe (Don't remember exactly, was about ~40LY from Fusang outside of the PP bubbles). 8 resets netted 7 spawns of small ships and 1 spawn of large ships (interrupted by the dinner bell). This system was medium sec rating whereas Fusang was high. The spawns of small ships were better here, many were in wings (small ships)... the large spawn was clippers, dropships, vultures and pythons. The large ships didn't appear to bother shooting at me ever except for the Vulture which was very fun to fight (I was in one too). I made about 2.5 million after about 2 1/2 hours of on and off play.

I still think spawns need to be adjusted to be more populated, at least for high intensity. Also they need to fix the AI not shooting back. One other bug I noticed was if a sec force was shooting the leader of a wing, the wing mates would stay fixated on the ship shooting their leader... and completely ignore me blasting their (the wingmates) ship to pieces.

So better, yes, fixed no (at least so far as I've seen). I'll also add that basing spawns off the first wanted ship still is valid, so if the first wanted is a small ship not in a wing with a large one you may want to reset it if you're looking for larger ships.

Hi all,
I read the posts about the spawns at RES sites since 1.3 and the upgrade from there. The game is simply not as fun anymore. There are plenty of Elite Sidewinders and Dangerous Eagles that don't shoot back at the RES sites. No Dropships, no Anacondas, no Pythons, no Empire big ships (it's been so long since I saw one I forgot the name). I loved this game before and now it's "fixed". I don't like having to reset 30 times to try and find a ship larger than a Viper. Is this a way to force ED players to use the PowerPlay feature?
If you have any suggestions let me know because killing 30 Vipers and gross 1 million, get interdicted on the way back and kill the ferocious Harmless Viper that interdicted me, and then have to pay $850000 in repairs because of the interdiction is ridiculous.
Waiting for another patch...

Last night I did 2 spawns, 1 at the millepe system, and then 1 at the fusang system. The first attempt was just small ships but when I returned to Fusang I got a big ship spawn... in an hour I managed (with the bounty bonus from Hudson) to make 10mill cr and raised my rank by 4%. Large ship spawns appear to now consist of Python, Clippers, Dropships and Vultures... with occasionally an Asp or transport being wanted.

I will note that the Millepe system spawn, while small ships did have the occasional clipper.

I said previously this wasn't fixed, now I don't know. Hoping this weekend I get a good amount of time to get a better gauge. The AI definately is broke, many ships just won't fire their guns... the few that did gave me a run for my money, didn't have shield cells so took some maneuvering and power management to keep my shields up.

Had many Dangerous-Deadly Eagles and Cobras in a Hi RES, but then even Pythons, Drops and Clippers turned up after a while. Made 2 mil in a Courier in 2 hrs so that was okay. And 5-6% in ranking (Expert then).
Seems that sticking around gives now change in the type of spawns.

Oh forgot to mention another AI gem I saw last night. There were sec forces after a while in my large ship spawn, including 3 anacondas. One anaconda in particular seemed to be a bit of a grump as it would ram every wanted guy... this wasn't some mistake once in a while where they clipped eachother... it was full speed ram, sometimes pushing/flipping my ship aside as it scraped by me. In all honesty I had to keep convincing myself it wasn't another human, it obviously wasn't but this ship certainly seemed to have a beef to settle.

It was entertaining to say the least.
