ranked up to Earl. found a Deadly/Elite RES. combat rank improved 1% after killing about 10 ships. not a bad start to the day.

Did some combat missions, bit of RES farming, and conflict zones with a friend irl who just started in ED and joined Mobius about a day ago. Still trying to help him get a bigger ship for hauling cargo around (he's currently piloting a cobra with 60T of cargo).

After my exploration voyage the 'new toys' fund had enough for a Python, so I thought it would be rude not to, planning to use it for armed trading, probably end up putting the emphasis on armed.

Just offed myself. Was in my eagle taxi and thought I'd try missiles for the first time. I probably shouldn't have taken on a wing with a clipper and asp in it. They had me at 25% hull and I didn't even know it (not much hull on those eagles). I ran and then turned to take on the asp that was following me. Me beams took down his shields and I was firing missiles at him and started taking heat damage. Why would firing a missile cause you to heat up? Anyway, I cooled off to about 92% and fired another missile and instantly blew up. Damn!
