Equipping upgrades

Postby GlobusDiablo » Mon Oct 06, 2014 8:54 pm

So, I bought a cargo rack upgrade for my Hauler, but how do I activate it?...

They show up blank on my priority overview, and don't register in the cargo hold.

Thanks in advance. :)

Did you have 4 ton before and bought an 8 ton?

You should se you have increased cargo capacity then.

And they don't need to be activated. You simply just upgrade your cargo capacity.
But when you do so you will get a little less jump range.

To get better jump range you buy an better frame shift drive.

But if you do so you might need to buy a better power plant so you can support the power it demands :)

In the outfitting menu you have stats on your right for your ship. You se current MW and max MWatt. if you exceed the max your ship cant support power to all your modules.

Not sure what you mean by activating. I have never activated any cargo racks. I simply just swap out for better and then I se the increased cargo capacity on the stats to right.

Ahha :) Aye sometimes changing equipment bug you out. Special the cargo racks. it happened to me when I bought 16 ton rack to my cobra and even if the game said I had 40 ton capacity I could not trade or buy anything.
I had to sell them of and rebuy them. And a relog did not work either. Ive ticket it as a bug.

Iam currently saving up for the badass frameshift drive that cost me 1.5 mil.

And ive finally found 2 good systems to do missions between. They are just 6.5 LY apart and they only offer missions to each other. So its to run back and forth :)
And only 1 station in each system makes it easier as well so I don't have to go to different ones to deliver. And they are close the to entry point as well :)

One of the system sometimes sell progenitor cells and the other want them as a mission offer.
In one trip I had 40 loaded and I got 14k as reward / unit minus the price I bought them for but it gived me close to 400k :D
