Once, though I only managed to start properly playing last weekend...

And my death was so stupid. Took off from station, was cocksure of my 1337 skillz as pilot and decided to pull in my landing gear and shoot out of the station like bat from hell. Misjudged a little how fast I would accelerate and realized I would hit the edge of exit. Tried to slow down but ship did not slow down!

Slammed into station and bounced back, struggling to understand why my ship was responding poorly to attempts to shut the engines. Then little before hitting the wall of station to die a fiery death, noticed that I had by mistake tapped enter and was typing furiously some gibberish into chat...

Yay. That cost me about 80k out of my 87k fortune (bought as much goodies as possible...)

One was after a particularly nasty dog fight with a Python who took out my canopy, got back to a platform and landed with 2 seconds to spare, but unlike a station there is no atmosphere on a Platform.... BOOM!

2nd and 3rd was when I unplugged my EDTracker, and ED decided to use Keyboard and Mouse as my controls instead of my normal layout, instead of going up I went backwards, sideways, rolled, tumbled and ... BOOM!

4th was when I bought a Sidewinder to try and do a run round the outside channels on a Station (like you see on those smart fekkin fekkers do in YouTube) .... BOOM!

I think 5th was just a misjudgement on leaving the letterbox too fast and at completely the wrong angle (Alcohol may have been involved*)... BOOM!!

To some player pirate with guns more expensive than my own ship (gimbaled beam lasers) that ripped through my shields in two hits, and my hull before I could get more than a speck of charge on my FSD.

Took my second death this afternoon. Exploring around Ilmemscs was constantly being interdicted. It is all anarchy out there but I have noticed that a good three times I was wining the interdiction battle easy only to find I was popped out of SC, bang out like the game jumped.

Twice to an imperial clipper which I was able to escape. The Asp alas proved too much for me and my little Adder. They have upped the danger out there for certain.

Yep....Interdictions are weird at the moment....

I "Used" to be able to avoid 95%......Now cannot hardly avoid any.....Same thing.......Seem to be winning then *BANG*.....Get dropped out.....

So I don't bother anymore....Just submit and then boost...Get a look at the geezer....Then run or fight.....

I thought further out it was empty/dead space, like past Anarchy even because you are way beyond civilization? Did that change with 1.1?

I've probably gone 50 jumps since I left civilized space, and 30 since I saw an system that was already explored by someone else, but there still manages to be NPC pirates out there that want to kill me. And interdictions are definitely broken, so just submit, jink, and boost away. And, they still call them Anarchy if you scan the local sun.
