I've been making some money in Tenche with the luxuries seekers.

It's quite crowded, there! I don't know how many commanders I've seen but hollow shapes seemed to be everywhere. You couldn't enter or exit the station without crossing paths with two or three of them.

OTOH, it such a short run you don't have a chance to chat with anyone!

Just took a progression mission.......

I'm a Lt Commander now.....

Anyway....One hell of a fight......

Ended up with 30% hull and a canopy breach......

Now this is where there needs to be a switch to turn the fucking docking computer off.....

Landing on platforms...It does not excel itself.....ALWAYS goes to 1km and pisses about......

Good if you want to get a beer from the fridge........Seriously BAD when you have 2 mins oxy supply left.....

Overrode the thing but panic set in with 3 secs left.......

Needless to say ship went boom.......

Upside it still took the mission as a success.....Hence promotion and 155,000 outta pocket......

Deffo got the old heart racing though.....

Just finished Going from a Cobra to a T6 in Tenche and then ran the robotic Luxuries run from 2.2mil to 6.1mil and decided to take a break for lunch.

btw, you can switch the docking computer off by going to Modules in the right hand panel and toggling its power.

Docking is so easy compared to the original Elite that I don't see any reason for buying a docking computer...

Day 10 - Homebase Cleve Hub - Eravate system.
A couple of transport missions with the Hauler completed with some gold and tantalum trading.
Bounty hunting with the Eagle at Nav Point for an hour and a half, was lucky to bag a Python stolen from the Feds who had an Elite Anaconda for law enforcing ! All in all 90 K of bounties and some fun. Missed a couple juicy targets who managed to jump away.
Back at home fitted the Eagle with a B2 power plant and a couple of fixed beam lasers to replace the original pulse lasers.

Saw one Cmdr on radar as I was on approach to Ackermann Market. No contact possible.

After a whole lot of Bountyhunting at/near RES in the Asoora system, I parked my fully kitted Viper and did a few trading runs in my new Type-6 ... must admit that trading is as boring as I expected and really not my kinda game, but you know the saying: Mo Money -> Mo Murda ... and the Python is my next goal

Grinding a 60ly 270k round trip around Yembo in my T6 to finance a kitted Asp then I intend going out into the black for some exploration .... shiny!

Yea I thought about that today and wondered if I could do that. I'll remember that now.

It was like a comedy show........I would overide the bloody thing.......come into land.....throttle down and the computer would kick in and take me back up.....
