I am commander Ed Raket. I played Elite first in 1984 on a BBC B computer. Seeing that the game still existed in 2019 and contained considerable more depth, I started to play it again. I played solo after having been shot a few times by gankers, but now I like to have some real company in a safe environment.

Hey guys! It's been a while. I was with Mobius for about 100 hours Playtime in the very Beginning. Just recently i noticed how much has changed since then and decided to give it another go. I am a seasond gamer living in southern Germany. I do actively play WoW, Star Citzen (once in a while but in that sence regularly), and the one or other RPG inbetween. I do like the more slow paced gameplay loops: transport, exploration, passenger cruises and the like.

I did apply (and hopefully did everything right there) to the EURASIA group.

Just looking to expand my potential wingmates maybe see some real people in game without the extra baggage.

Hello Everyone Angry1541 here -- the 1541 is nod the disk drive number of the C64, which is where I first played Elite way back when -- yeah, I am in my 50s -- which are probably everyone is that first played it on the system or older.

I wanna play in a environment where I can learn to better play these types of games without having to worry about having to get dog fights and such. I want to learn more the basics of how to play/control ships in such an environment. I have never been good at -- though my younger brother claims I was really good at the original on the C64 (i don't remember that -- maybe the joystick controller then was more intuitive than a keyboard and mouse is after years using them in different mechanics).

Anyway, I look forward seeing what this is all about getting a new game with some depth that I remember enjoying as a kid.

I recently heard about this group, sent my application and waiting to be admitted. I've been playing solo exclusively until Distant Worlds 3, so I'm excited to play in a PVE group when I get back to Sol.

​I’m Cmdr Adorno. In real life, I’m unfortunately not piloting starships, but am just a regular guy in his 50s from Germany. I remember playing Elite back on the C64, though my memories are a bit hazy—mostly involving the fact that I rarely managed to dock at a station without completely obliterating my ship.

​I played Elite Dangerous when it first launched, but after a 10-year break, I’ve jumped back in headfirst. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been busy padding my bank account and unlocking Engineers. Right now, I’m running trade loops in my freshly acquired and fully kitted-out Panther Clipper Mk II. I also love exploring in my Mandalay, though I’m still on the hunt for my first "undiscovered" Earth-like world.

​During the recent Community Goal, I was flying rescue missions when I got interdicted and attacked in Open Play. I barely made it out alive, and honestly, that’s just not the way I enjoy playing. That’s how I found Mobius. I want the feeling of having real people around me, but I prefer flying with others rather than against them.

​I’m really happy to be part of this group and look forward to seeing some of you out there in the black!
