Good MiFi device and service

So my new job has me doing a lot of travelling. I am slowly (pun intended) getting annoyed with slow hotel wifi. Has anyone used a MiFi service in the UK? Can anyone suggest a good service? I have been looking at Vodafone as it is the cheapest with 10GB for £15/month. I am not the biggest fan of Vodafone but they are who my mobile is with and it gets signal almost everywhere I go (which my iD sim, which is using the EE network, doesn't always have good signal).

I just want to be able to surf with some form of speed, even 3G would be faster then most hotels I can't tether my mobile because my contract doesn't allow it

I went from Virgin to Vodafone. Haven't regretted it at all. I now get 4G at work whereas before I wasn't even getting a signal unless one particular chair was free in the north side of the building. Virgin don't offer 4G so it's not worth going with them.
