Anyone using throttle controller for thrusters or triggers?

Hi all,

Just thought I'd weigh in here. I use a Thrustmaster with a pretty basic setup, but it works for me - though it does have some issues.

Trigger1 = Fire Primary // Thrust Fwd in Landing Mode (gear down)
Trigger2 = Fire Second // Thruat back in Landing // UI Select
Trigger3 = Select Next Subsystem
Trigger4 = Select Next Target
Hat = Lateral & up/down Thrust // UI Cursor

Throttle = Throttle (Fwd Only)
Rudder Rocker = Lateral Thrust Duplication // UI Tab
Z = flight assist off
Button5 = Boost
Button6 = FSD
Button7 = UI Focus
Button8 = Chaff
Button9 = Deploy HP
Button10 = Weapon Select
SE = Reverse (toggle)
ST = Landing Gear
Cursor Keys = Power Mgt
K = Jump to Supercruise Only
T = Target Ahead
H = Highest Threat

Am I right in thinking this is the T-Flight?
I use the 8 button as a shift key, which give me double function on the joystick side.

It is, and yes, I've seen setups with 1, 2 and even 3 of the side buttons on the throttle used as shift keys. I may try that sometime, but I'm comfortable with what I have for the moment

Yeah, well, I've been playing with my T-Flight setup since I received it and customized my own from one I found on the net.
The thing is, I've got three or four of these buttons shifted and guess what .... I can never remember most of them (apart from the obvious navigation stuff). So end up having to refer to a print out diagram whenever I need to do something a bit unusual.
That's why I'm interested in a simpler setup (thanks Siobhan!)
