Microphone (only) recommendations?

Hi, I'm not a big one for headsets and currently have a bluetooth earbud setup for audio that works very well. As far as a microphone goes, I'm using the PS3 camera (for headtracking) and its microphone array, which works most of the time.

I was wondering... is there a lightweight microphone out there that works well with ED?

Might want to look at a Throat Mic. Simple, cheap, and works well.

Hi - wondered if anyone had found a good throat mic?

There seem to be many types around - broadly for radios, and for x-box/PS4.

Trying to use a normal clip-on, or desk mic isn't working so well for me, so I wondered if anyone had real life experience of using a throat mic for Elite?

Not for elite, but I do have one somewhere for Airsoft. Might have to give it a try in the PC...

Not being able to find a throat mic that I thought I would like/use, I ended up trying an old PS3 Rockband microphone. Surprisingly, it works great, and I'm sitting about 2.5 feet from it. I'm using this for VoiceAttack commands, so dunno if it would work so well for voice comms between pilots. Just thought I would pass it on.
