Mouse Cursor Often Gets Stuck to Side of Screen

Hi

Just brought myself a new laptop with a nVidia GTX 980 8GB CPU.

I've noticed that when playing the game and I go into the settings screens, such as graphics settings, my mouse cursor is stuck to the left side of my screen. I can move it up and down but not away from the screen, unless I press the TAB button, which then seems to place the mouse cursor in the centre of the screen and then it's okay. Until I go back into the settings menu, then it's stuck to the side again.

Whilst actually on the game screen playing the game I seem to notice no proplems.

Any ideas?

Does your mouse work normally in windows and other games?

With 2.1 they added a graphic setting for mouse cursor mode.
Try checking that.

Odd. For the hell of it, try unplugging and reinserting your mouse, preferably after a reboot of your pc. Stranger things have happened...

I don't know remember what the mode is called but since I use a eye tracker I use an in game render mode for the mouse cursor otherwise it would move around as I read the text.

Using this is too have this where cursor sticks to one side

But usually violently wiggling the mouse fixes it.

I was getting the same but it seems to have stopped now, touch wood

had something similar but not in elite.
if I had my x52 pro plugged in games like Satellite Reign and Broforce, it would force my mouse into the top left corner and I would have to alt tab out.
this leads me to think that your issue is with a connected device or a control scheme in your control panel.
its not much help but may lead you in the right direction to finding out what your issue is.
