Strange Mission Expiry before mission should expire

Something strange, is this a known bug?
I took some surface missions with ETA 12-19 hours, logged out for the night and when I just checked today (after ca 8 hrs.), all of them registered as "failed".
Anyone?

Hello,
I've read about this surface mission bug on these forums. Some other commanders have experienced the same thing. I personally have not as I've only attempted one surface mission before.

Have had this happen - and it's not tied to just surface missions, happened with space one for me.

Yup, I've had it happen a few times too.

I gave up on stacking missions overnight.

Just one of many mission bugs that hopefully gets fixed when 2.1 comes out.

oh you mean this was a bug? I just assumed I slept far too long (regular occurence when I do actually sleep)
