Why do I keep jettisoning stuff

Is this a glitch in the game or in the Saitek software? Second time now my cargo hold suddenly wants to jettison everything just outside a station. I haven't even bound any key to 'Jettison All Cargo' so I can't do it by accident.

Strangely enough this time I jettisoned more than can fit in my cargo hold. I have 12t capacity yet after scooping all 12 canisters there were still 3 floating about

IIRC, there are two binds for jettisoning: one for jettison and one for jettison all. If that's right, make sure both are unbound. And if they are (or if there's only one of them), make sure to file a ticket about it.

An interesting test: load half your cargo space with, say, Gold, and see if you can repeat the experience. Should be amorally profitable.

I'm flying a Hauler.

You can select from the Systems Panel how much to jettison but there's no key bind for it in Controls.

And I actually had the key bound for it, just not set to my X-55 profile. But the binding is now gone as well. I shall investigate futher and see if it happens again. If it persists, I'll file the ticket.

If your hatch is not powered, you can't drop the scoop, but does it keep you from dumping as well?

Also, are you using Voice attack and accidentally saying something that is triggering it? Like "Need to take a DUMP" and poof! there it goes?
