So I was flying toward Olivas City (LHS 3505) in my Asp. I saw on my radar an Eagle that had a bounty. I was debating interdicting, but thought that if I leave it, it'll try me and save me the trouble.
I was right, it flew past me, turned and there was the familiar interdiction alert.
I submitted and got ready to fight. But even though I'd cut the throttle (and even the HUD reported submitting), I still got an FSD Failure message and 6% hull damage (about 11,000 Cr) from it, and was left spinning.
Nevertheless, I dispatched my attacker without taking any more damage and continued my journey.
This is another oddity though. There are way more interdictions than there have been in the past, and now it seems that even submitting won't save one from hull damage. If this is anything but a bug, it's going to make it pointless flying any big ships as the cost for repairs will add up extremely quickly.
Most disconcerting.
