to stop from over shooting, hit 75/50% and drop your "nose" till the marker in the compass reaches the top. youll slow down then you'll just nedd to readjust your flight

to come out of sc facing the letterbox you need to approach from planet side . so approach above/below system then you get blue rings and yellow rings lined up aim between station and planet then turn and try to approach along orbital plane, very important with those long stations as you can come out of sc within station if you come in directly astern

Yes. I've actually rammed into the end of one coming right out of SC. Jump in... BOOM! Ahh! Luckily I didn't even loose shields.

It was never a problem when we used to exit SC 20 km away from the station, but the whiners complained that it was too much of a time loss to travel 20 km in real space and Frontier changed it to the current distance.

Anyway, if you put the throttle down to zero as you exit SC, you'll end up stationary.

People complained about travelling 20km? It only takes about a couple of minutes to cover that distance.:o

One thing E:D has taught me is that people will complain about anything.

Never mind ED, the Internet shows that ;). Actually, now I think about it, so does working in retail...
