I don't want to fight another human player at all, I don't find it 'fun'.

Honestly I think I'll just go into solo, it's how I've played every game since 1980. I don't require other human players to be part of my game world although this Group seemed like a nice way of relaxing, getting wasted and having a form of social interaction. I guess not.

As the late, great Douglas Adams put it; 'So long and thanks for all the fish.'

Wow, slow down, there! Do you think I make the rules? That was just an opinion, and if you want to see my stats, they say NPC killed: 685, players killed: 0.

In Mobius Group What Is Considered PvP?

This sort of attitude if a real turn off to me personally. Obviously this group is about PvE rather than PvP but to have a zero tolerance policy? I thought allowing PvP in Conflict Zones was a great way to have a middle ground with no gotchya's. After all, no one goes to a conflict zone accidentally.

I've been in PvE groups in other games and they can be fun and relaxing. A great way to meet a bunch of other laid back players. But such groups usually have a PvP wing for those who are into that, who want a little more out of the game. It's common for PvE players to graduate to PvP over time, I've made that transition myself in the past. You just can't go off and start attacking people of course, but there is a time and place for it.

Conflict Zones seem like the perfect place for that.

Well to add my tuppence to this heated debate......

I personally will never shoot on a hollow box even in a conflict zone......If they attack me then of course I will retaliate...

BUT I'm all for an area for consensual PVP......Where people want to learn/improve combat skills for their encounters with NPCs or if they are thinking about trying open.....Because we all know actual pilots fly different from NPC's. This of course would be shield based only with NO hull damage and reporting turned off.....

It would be like a combat school.......

But out of this arrangement ......I would say No PVP whatsoever..........

Tor.....Hold on.......Tor.......Wait a bit.....TOR will you stop fecking firing.......Ok......Tor I know a therapist that can help you....... :D My Cmdr also has small feet

consensual PVP
I like this one :)

I go with the flow on this. I never entered a conflict zone and I remain neutral between factions. But I can accept other players having a wish to fight other humans on this group when spending time in a conflict zone. Just never shoot at neutral people flying past the area (or watching the conflict). Have fun, do whatever you like to do, just don't bother other players with your stuff :D

personally i think a dogfight would be good.. but no kills a sort of training school to better your skills..no shots when below 30% the reason for not killing is because this group is for what it says " playing the environment " ..and last but not least being killed can be very costly..e.g. paying for another ship and the insurance on that..i also reckon the more experienced guys and girls can give you tips other than that.. there is always the option to jump to another station..just my opinion.. :D

Gentlemen,

The current official rules are that PvP is allowed in Warzones ONLY. As others have said earlier, going there and declaring a side are consensual decisions.

There is a no tolerance policy in force at all other times.

The group is non-binding in that people are allowed to come and go as they please, and if anybody would like to go into open and have some fun mixing it up with other commanders that is encouraged, just know that when doing so you are not representing the Mobius group in any way, shape, or form.

We have a lot of commanders who do it, and come back to play here when they want a break from the Chaos. Others choose never to join the chaos in the first place.

But do know that friendly fire incidents outside of the warzones will be dealt with harshly.

Fly Safe.
