I couldn't believe it when I saw this last night. I had a pirate hunting mission and had already got 3/5 in one USS. When I dropped in to the next I had the counter off to bring down 4 authority ships and I had to go and get another 5 pirates.

wow ok, i assumed they'd fixed that by now. i managed to circumvent the whole issue by doing my hunting at nav beacons* - the goon who offers the alternative doesn't show up there, only at USSs

I tried the Nav Beacon approach myself but the one at Facece was deathly quiet. I sat there for twenty minutes and everyone was as clean as a whistle. That's when I decided to try USS instead.
