Even Vettes need support. But a wing of Vettes and Condas can make a real difference. More big targets to shoot at so less damage to the small ships which can easily go at the targets and take them out.

Cutters are very odd, took down 3 of them today with my FAS (on separate occasions obviously), the shields lasted as long as you would expect, but the power plants go down really really quickly, then it ages to finish off the hull. The last one which was Elite the pp went at something like 60% hull, but then it took a good couple of minutes to finish the rest of the hull off.

Protip:
Just keep shooting the power plant, each shot after 0% has a chance of causing a catastrophic failure like before, usually within 5-10 shots when aiming square at it.

Agreed. I was soloing Cutters last night with my Vulture and they couldn't take down the shields. I stayed behind it and there was no way I was going to be able to chew all that hull out. Power Plant targeting and keep firing.
