Changing the currency to GBP has no effect the currency displayed against the items on the home page. Currency does change when you click through to individual item pages.

Just tried this on Firefox on Win 10 and it's the same. Changing the currency on the homepage does not force a refresh to take into account the new currency.

I ordered a keyring and a badge which worked smoothly. Only minor comment would be that £4.50 for postage on a key ring or badge feels a little steep but then maybe I'm out of touch.

Thinking about this it occurred to me that from a cost perspective it would be more comfortable for me if the item prices where a little higher and the postage a little lower. Not sure how easy it is to play with that, I guess it will depend on the purchasing patterns from those that will be buying (bundled postage cost vs per item). Perhaps something to look at over time as you have data.
Maybe worth a message to suggest the purchaser order more than one item to get value from the postage cost? Might increase sales.

Also, would it help to add a message on the landing page along the lines of how the 'profits' (minimal though I'm sure they are) go to supporting the hosting of the forum etc etc?

Thanks for your feedback. Here are some things I considered:
I thought long and hard about the shipping cost.
I needed to find a good average. When I send 2 mugs the actual cost is actually greater than that, so the oher option would be limit the mugs to just one per order.
Yes, I could change to shipping per item, but I think that would look even worse or else I would make a loss if peple only order 1 badge or key ring. So yes, I need more data first.

About the Password, there is no option to force strong in this edition.

And the currency setup, i also saw that on the Frontpage it is only the backend currency. Is either a bug, or i have to add the products individually to the front page. At the moment it is an automatic widget.
