No, the low intensity one isn't our war now (it's part of the concurrent civil war). Only the high intensity one by Exioce 3 is ours.

I can confirm this - visited the area twice today and the only OOM war going on is in the high intensity CZ.

Anticipating winning this war, the only stations I see that are controlled by crimson are the two ground stations on Exiorce 5 a b! Hopefully we take over at least one of these which will become base of operations for the next round. The push for influence parity with the system controlling faction will be that much harder as not all have Horizons. Slowly, slowly catchy monkey.

Aside, is there a term for a moon of a moon? Sub-moon?

Also, do we have any figures on what percentage of Mobians have Horizons?

Earned another 72K in combat bonds bringing my total today to 143K. Got impatient in my last foray and lost about 40-50k which would have brought my total to 200k. For new commanders coming into the war, yes - you can participate in a Sidey as long as you follow these tips :

1. Configure your Sidey for full combat , no cargo racks or anything else unrelated to CZ combat.
2. Use HRP's, I use 2 x Class 2 HRPs on mine. No Sidey shield is going to stop much so I downgraded my ship's shield to just a C1 bi-weave. Hull tanking is the trick to surviving.
3. Be sure to have Chaff. I'm currently debating whether Point Defense makes sense, had several missiles aimed at me in my last fight.
4. Pick a fight on the edges of furball & a target which is already being attacked by 1 or 2 NPC ships on the side of the Order.
5. If your target looks like it's starting to concentrate on you then RUN. Wait until your fellow NPCs hit the enemy ship till it shift's it's attention back to them. Aggro management this way is very critical.
6. Don't be greedy. After 1-3 kills head back to the nearest station (McMillan is pretty near btw) and resupply/repair.

I was startled to see an Order charity mission at McMillan station (specifically for it's upkeep). Is OOM's influence expanding ?

With those earnings, you should look into upgrading to an Eagle or Adder.
