Looks like exciting times are ahead. And with a bit of luck Wings will be released tomorrow as scheduled. Look forward to trying out collaborative team efforts.

Might try out the new Vulture in the conflict zones.

Just a thought - doesn't it sound like "Alioth Independents" want Alioth to be Independent and not Alliance? :geek:

A few questions about bounties. How does cashing bounties in a system affect the controlling faction? For example, if you bounty hunt in a system, does cashing your bounties there make the controlling faction stronger? If it was an Alliance system, would cashing other Alliance bounties there make the controlling faction stronger? If you cash them in another system, does it affect the controlling faction, and how? If it was an Independent system, and you haven't cashed in your bounties, and the controlling faction is overthrown, do you lose your bounties (assuming someone else wouldn't have cashed them), or do they transfer to the new controlling faction?

Thanks.
It's time to give this another go.

Yeah, there are conflict zones now. I met Antmax, who said he got run out by a Python & 2 Vipers. Then I tried it and got an Eagle and a Viper, and then it was just me and 3 Vipers. They took my Asp's A6 shields down in no time and then started working on the hull. They were too fast and I couldn't run away, so I jumped out with my tail between my legs and 25,000CR in damages. Those system defense ships have very strong shields. They take about 10 times as long to take down than regular NPCs.

I think I'll go back home and pick up my Viper, for speed, and also try shield cells. Or maybe I'll just get shield cells for the Asp. Maybe I should get some armour too. The defense ships seem to prefer fragment cannons.

I also saw Hengest as I was landing for repairs, but he logged out before he got my hi.

Hah yeah. Usually the conflict zones really aren't that tough but today I got run out by the skin of my pants. My 20m asp collected 60k in damage. Enough to replace a lost viper.

So after that short exchange with Roger WIlko I parked at LHS 2494 where I will be buying a viper when I log in tonight.

The conflict zones seem much tougher than the weekend. Makes me wonder what it will be like tomorrow. When I played wings beta I would often get interdicted by an eagle or sidey and find that they were backed up with either multiple small fighters or a mid/large size buddy.

PS. Viper is working out well. did a 9 kill mission in the conflict zone including pythons and asps. I guess my asp was too big and slow for multiple foes. Doing well now :)

Hello everyone!

Welcome Captain Rush. You are welcome, but if you do not have access to Alioth yet, you are Cadet. Once you obtain the access you are called Jaeger. :)

So quick update, will be a lot more online from now on. I think everyone is up to date what to do? Civil war has broken out, so it's time to defend Alliance's honor once again.

Updated Roster, pm me if you see that your name should not or should be there.

Beast Tanner
Bigg Badger
Antmax
Mario Melwasul
Avago Earo
Anteronoid
Scastritchez
Scaramaus
Roger Wilco Jr
InoiTroriak
Kilrahti
Hengest
Captain Rush

When I am writing this, the wings update is not out yet, but as soon as it come up we should meet up. This is a good time to try out the Wings, now when there are conflicts to fight. :) We could discuss what would be the best time to meet up?

Stay Vigilant, Jaegers.

Crimson State Group which seem to be Independents are putting out a call for assistance in their battle for freedom against the Federation. Is this something the Jaegers want to get involved in? Not necessarily an Alliance battle but they could become "Allies" if we were to assist. Just putting it out there for discussion.

To our friends within the Alliance we are asking, as kindred people, come to our aid. We want only what you have attained, freedom of self determination, freedom to believe in our religion, and to breath the air of our planets as one, united people, without intervention from political powers that are light years away holding political power by intimidation and threat of military action. We were independent before, we only seek to regain what has been taken from us.

I would like to hear everybody's opinion about Lugh and Crimson State Group.

I am willing to help our brothers in their fight against tyranny. We need to go and help those who wants freedom and supports the same values as we do! I would go and say; that is the whole point of Alliance. I know the Alliance takes it's time to make it's official decision, we don't have to. If we do this we do it together, so speak up.

I am willing...BUT if the stories about them being religious terrorists are true I would also want to keep a close eye on them to make sure they are not taking innocent civilian lives while we are helping them. Freedom is one thing but attaining that freedom by terrorism is not "okay."

I don't have enough information on them, but when I hear 97% of the people support them, I think of Iran, Venezuela, North Korea (100% for them). So I'm thinking anything the government is saying may be propaganda. I'd like to know what's really happening there before making any final decisions. The other thing is that they are not in the Alliance, but I still don't like the idea of the Federation throwing their weight around.

I didn't get a chance to try any wing features yet, but check out NPC behavior around stations.
It's time to give this another go.
